Course Description

The aim of the Master’s Degree in English (MEG) Programme is to give the learners a sound understanding of English and American literatures and also other new areas in literature such as, Canadian, Australian and Indian English. MEG program provides the learner a sound base in language as well as gives them exposure to a wide range of literatures. It is a yearly program with total duration of 2 years. The learners would develop an understanding of English and other literatures of their choice in their proper historico-critical perspectives. A good knowledge of reading, comprehension and writing skills would be a pre-requisite for this Programme.

Admission In IGNOU

Application form for all programs is available in our center. Candidate has to fill up the form and duly attest all the supporting documents. Fee for the first year/semester has to be paid at the time of admission.
Mode of payment : Cash / Bank Transfer
After the time of admissions are over, forms will be submitted to IGNOU head-quarters in New Delhi, India. Eligible students will be informed afterwards.
Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance. However, ONLY Program fee may, be refunded if admission is not granted from IGNOU, New Delhi for any reason

Copies of Educational qualification documents (What ever level) - mark sheets, passing certificates etc.

Passport Copy - front page and address page

Resident ID Copy

4 photos (to be pasted in the space provided in the application forms)

All documents should be in English. Resident ID or the Visa of the candidate must be valid at the time of admission.
